Restaurants & POS · IT as a Service · Cybersecurity

IT that keeps the line moving—from the first ticket to close.

Wi‑Fi that holds up during the rush, a POS network that stays online, cameras you can check from your phone, and cooler alerts before product is lost. We set it up, watch it around the clock, and fix it when something breaks.

The problems we get called for

Restaurants run on tight margins and tighter timing. These are the failures that cost real money—and the ones we build to prevent.

Wi‑Fi drops during the rush

Handhelds lose signal, online orders stall, and guests on the same network slow everything down.

The POS goes offline

Terminals can’t reach the network, cards won’t run, and the kitchen stops getting tickets.

A cooler fails overnight

Nobody notices until the morning crew opens the walk‑in—and the product is already lost.

Cameras are down when you need them

An incident happens and the recorder stopped weeks ago, or no one can pull up the footage remotely.

Card data sits on a flat network

Guest Wi‑Fi, office PCs, and payment devices all share one network, one weak password away from trouble.

No one owns the tech

Managers become the help desk, updates get skipped, and every issue turns into a scramble.

What we do for restaurants

One team for the network, the devices, the cameras, and the security behind them.

Network & Wi‑Fi

UniFi networks, IT as a Service

  • Separate networks for guests, staff, and POS—so guest traffic never touches payments
  • Wi‑Fi coverage planned for the dining room, bar, patio, and kitchen
  • Remote monitoring of every site, with alerts when something goes down
  • Firmware and configuration handled for you

Point of sale

Toast POS support & reliability

  • A stable, dedicated network for Toast terminals, handhelds, and printers
  • Troubleshooting when devices won’t connect or print
  • Network setup that supports Toast’s offline mode and recovery
  • Help adding stations and devices as you grow

Surveillance

UniFi Protect cameras

  • Camera coverage for entrances, registers, back door, and storage
  • Live and recorded viewing from your phone or laptop
  • Health monitoring so a dead camera or full recorder gets caught early
  • Footage pulled quickly when you need it

Food safety

Cooler & freezer temperature monitoring

  • Sensors in walk‑ins, reach‑ins, and freezers
  • Alerts by text or email when temperatures drift out of range
  • Around‑the‑clock watch, including overnight and closed days
  • Temperature history you can reference later

Devices

Apple device support

  • Setup and support for manager iPhones, iPads, and Macs
  • Updates scheduled outside service hours—not in the middle of dinner
  • Lost or replaced devices set back up quickly
  • Account and access cleanup when staff leave

Cybersecurity

Security & cyber audits

  • PCI‑minded network segmentation to keep card data isolated
  • Phishing awareness for managers and office staff
  • Patching, endpoint protection, and backups
  • Cyber audits that show where you’re exposed and what to fix first

IT as a Service

Unlimited remote support, onsite when needed

Unlimited remote support is included: call, text, or email and we’ll remote in. When something needs hands on it, we come onsite. A monthly plan covers monitoring, maintenance, and support—so you’re not deciding whether a problem is worth a service call.

Multi‑location

Built for groups, too

Running more than one location? We standardize networks, cameras, and devices across sites and monitor them from one place—so every location gets the same setup and the same response.

Openings & remodels

New locations, set up right

Opening or renovating? Bring us in early to plan cabling, Wi‑Fi, cameras, and POS networking so everything works on opening day.

How it works

A clear process, from first walkthrough to ongoing coverage.

  1. Assessment

We walk your location, review your network, POS, cameras, and devices, and flag the risks and weak spots.

  2. Setup

We fix what matters first: segmented networks, solid Wi‑Fi, working cameras, and temperature sensors—scheduled around service.

  3. Always‑on monitoring

Networks, cameras, and coolers are watched around the clock. When something drifts or drops, we know.

  4. Ongoing support

Unlimited remote support when you call, text, or email, onsite visits when needed, and regular updates and checkups to keep things current.

Common questions

We already use Toast. Do you replace it?

No. We keep your Toast setup and make the network under it reliable—dedicated POS networking, stable Wi‑Fi for handhelds, and help when devices won’t connect or print.

Can guests use our Wi‑Fi without putting the POS at risk?

Yes. We separate guest, staff, and POS traffic onto their own networks, so guests get internet access without any path to your payment devices or office systems.

How do cooler and freezer alerts work?

Sensors in your walk‑ins, reach‑ins, and freezers report temperatures continuously. If one drifts out of the range you set, the right people get an alert—including overnight and on days you’re closed.

Will your work disrupt service?

We schedule installs, updates, and maintenance outside service hours whenever possible, and plan changes so the POS and Wi‑Fi stay up while we work.

Do you support restaurant groups with multiple locations?

Yes. We standardize equipment and settings across locations and monitor every site from one view, so each location gets the same setup and the same support.

What does the assessment involve?

A walkthrough of your location and a review of your network, POS connectivity, cameras, devices, and security. You get a clear list of what’s at risk and what we’d fix first.

Ready for a restaurant that stays online?
